I am very excited as I begin this new journey of recording my thoughts on my own blog!
Although I have been greatly inspired and encouraged by reading others' blogs, I had previously not given much consideration to beginning my own. I hardly have enough time to keep our family's blog updated, so I really debated over whether or not to begin my own.
I have 3 purposes for my blog:
In the same way I have been ministered to and encouraged by the blogs of young wives and mothers just a few years older than me, I feel I have a responsibility to set an example of virtuous young womanhood to girls a few years younger than me. I still have sooo much to learn, but perhaps other girls will be able to learn from my experiences without having to go through them as well.
It is also my hope to share why I've chosen to live at home until I marry, Lord willing, and what an "at-home daughter" is like... her thoughts, her hopes, and the tasks that fill her days.
Thirdly, I look forward to reading back through the old blog posts in the future and seeing what God has done and how He continues to use the experiences I go through to script the story of my life.
