Memorial Day Weekend

Elliott and I have been in North Carolina working for the tractor service since last Wednesday. Although we have mostly been cutting grass from nearly sunup until sundown, I was able to attend a friend's engagement party a couple nights ago and we both attended a Memorial Day party this afternoon before heading home.
While in the tractor cab, I was able to listen to the entire Pilgrim's Progress audio book, a segment about the conversion of St. Augustine from his Confessions, as well as several edifying, classic sermons by Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield.
I have a busy week ahead beginning with processing over 100 chickens tomorrow morning with my family and spending the afternoon getting caught up on all of the bookkeeping work that has been neglected while I was out of town. I took a lot of pictures of the scenery in the waterfront neighborhoods we work in, so I will try to post them tomorrow.
