The final week of the 10 Week New Meal Challenge has arrived!
I hate that I have been so slack in blogging lately, but with only a few weeks until the wedding, my days are filled to the brim with important items on my "to-do list" and updating the blog is not exactly at the top of the list. I've begun several entries that I hope to post within the next few days and I especially look forward to sharing about the two wonderful bridal showers I have been blessed with over the past couple weekends! At last week's shower I received recipes from each of the guests and was so inspired by two of the recipes that I made them into my new meal for this week. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures, but it was a "breakfast for supper" meal of delicious sausage quiche, moist banana bread fresh from the oven, and my mom added hashbrowns made with a previous dinner's leftover baked potatoes. My family rarely eats breakfast together, so I have very limited breakfast cooking experience and was glad to try out these new recipes.
This week's other meal entries sound so good! I would love to try each one!
Lisa's Black Bean & Tomato Quinoa
Missy's Swiss Chicken Casserole & Sweet Potato Casserole
Morgan's Slow Cooker Roast & Vegetables
Sarah's Traditional English Christmas Pudding
Thank you so much for participating in this during the past several months. I hope everyone else has been as inspired as I have been! I have enjoyed this challenge and am so thankful for all of the meal ideas I have gleaned from those who joined in each week. I look forward to referencing these posts again in the near future when I begin to plan meals and make grocery lists as a brand new wife. :)

When I got married many moons ago, my choir gave us a shower and we got a recipe and an ingredient for gifts. We used them all including the lima beans. LOL.
Remember to take a minute or two for yourself.
Best wishes.
Thank you for hosting the challenge, Meredith. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from it. Best of luck in these last few weeks leading up to your wedding!
